This could have 2 possible causes:
The Access Connect Service on the server is not running with being logged into an account with the relevant permissions.
βNote: We always advise to use the Domain Admin account.
To fix this, your IT should set the Access Connect Service running with a server profile account which has full domain admin permissions, such as the Domain Administrator account.
βThe Database has not been synchronised / linked with Workspace for the user. Within the Access Supply Chain database, the User Record attempting the process should be set so their Linked User is set with their own Workspace Account for the Set ADM User.
βNote: If they have multiple databases, we need to link all databases for the unauthorised error to disappear.
To fix this, go into Access Supply Chain and link the accounts with Workspace:Click System, User Records
Search for and select the required User
Open the User Record
Click Linked Users
Enter the Workspace credentials and select Set ADM User
Save and Close
