Submit a VAT return using Access Connect

Follow these steps to submit a VAT return using Access Connect:

  1. Log in to your Access Evo account: go.accessacloud.com.

  2. Click the My Products button in the top left corner of Access Evo to open Access Digital Tax.

  3. Scroll down and change the Data Source — clear File Upload and select Dimensions or Financials.

  4. Select the Dimensions or Financials database you want Access Digital Tax to connect to.

  5. Click Save.

  6. Select your unfulfilled obligation.

  7. Click Refresh Data.

  8. Confirm that the figures displayed are correct.

  9. Click Submit.

  10. Select the declaration checkbox.

  11. Click Submit.

This submits your VAT return to HMRC. You do not need to manually update the VAT return in Dimensions or Access Financials. Access Connect automatically updates it for you.
