Once Access Connect has been installed, the VAT return feature in Dimensions will be disabled.
The following error message will appear when attempting to run the VAT return in Dimensions:

37000:[Microsoft][SQL Server Native Client 11.0][SQL Server]Because you have a Dimensions integration with Access Digital Tax, you can no longer do VAT returns in dimensions. Please use Access Digital Tax for your VAT returns 37000:[Microsoft][SQL Server Native Client 11.0][SQL Server]The transaction ended in the trigger. The batch has been aborted
This error can be bypassed and a VAT return can be run in Dimensions by following these steps:
Select the System tab.
In the VAT section, select VAT Return, VAT Return.
Click Print icon.
Ensure the correct periods have been selected.
Change the VAT Reference to ADT-<Date> . For example, “ADT-260419”.
Note: It is crucial for the VAT Reference to contain “ADT-" as this will help to understand and identify the VAT return, and bypass the error message.
