You can view previous VAT return submissions in the VAT Payments and Returns area of Access Digital Tax. From here:
Choose between **Liabilities**, **Payments** and **Previous VAT returns**.
You may need to use the **date range** drop-down and select a start date before the start of the VAT submission you want to view.
To view the VAT return submitted for a previous obligation, click the obligation.
📌 **Note:** Access Digital Tax is a platform that links directly with HMRC's system. All details shown — obligations, previous submissions and payments — are pulled from what HMRC holds on its system.
You can also log in to the HMRC Business Tax Account portal directly to view previous payments and submissions. If you have queries about payments not yet taken or received, contact HMRC.
