You can set up Access Digital Tax to allow users to submit VAT returns. Follow these steps:
In Access Evo, click the nine dot menu.
Click Access Digital Tax then select the VAT registrations.
Click **Next**, then enter the VAT registration number. 📌 **Note:** This registration must start with GB.
Enter a description then click Next.
Select the data source then click Next.
Check the information is correct then click Submit Access Request.
A new window will open for HMRC where you can enter your business tax account credentials to authorise Access Digital Tax for Making Tax Digital. Once you've submitted your request, HMRC can take up to 72 hours to grant access.
